We searched for over two years for a franchise that would fit our needs. When we came across Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids Franchise, we knew immediately it was worth pursuing. Within 15 minutes of inquiring about the franchise, I had a reply from Scott, the owner, followed by an initial phone call. You can tell immediately that Scott is a hard working honest professional. He takes pride is his business model and in all of the salons that open under that model. We are rookie business owners and Scott walked us through every step, from accompanying us to look at potential lease spaces to being available at a movements notice to answer questions and provide guidance. He has always made sure we are informed and comfortable with the next step of the process and had patience in guiding us. His knowledge of the market has saved us thousands of dollars in start-up fees and ensured the perfect location. As new business owners, we have looked to Scott as a teacher and mentor. He has a gift for making you feel like you are the only new store (even though he is currently opening seven more) and that is something we never expected to find in this competitive fast paced marker. We are super excited to be opening under his model and would recommend this franchise to anyone with no, limited or extensive experience in franchising.

Hugging Is a Mindset
The very word "hugging" may suggest we're advocating all sorts of fuzzy, touchy-feely type of stuff. We're not, though warmth is a big part of our business. I define hugging as a mindset more than a physical act. It's a way of thinking about customers. To us, hugging is a softer word for passion and relationships. It's a way of getting close to your customers and truly understanding them. I like to say, You listen, you learn, you hug.
When you acquire the hugging mindset, you'll naturally come up with all sorts of passionate ways to care for your customers.
Piling On the Hugs
You can go a long way toward making a very satisfied customers with one simple hug, but the great huggers pile the hugs one on top of another until they've created an entire force field of hugs. The great huggers blitz a customer with hugs--with tender loving care.
