WOW!  Owning a business is both rewarding and difficult, but its way better when you know that you’re on the ground floor of something huge. The most important thing that we gained from the conference was that we remembered our why as to the reason we became part of the Sharkey’s franchise.

The amount of networking and knowledge shared at the convention was invaluable, most of which I will use or have the rest of my life.  I am thankful for the event in itself, the presentations from both the franchisees and the vendors and the venue was excellent on more ways than one. Each vendor introduced and provided a new level of thinking or gave us great insight to things we needed to be utilizing to help grow our business.

Scott’s presentation on “My Bucket list” solidified that our leader is a visionary that will not only continue to help our business grow but will revolutionize the way we think from the top down. We are extremely thankful to be apart and can’t wait to watch the growth!

The 2019 Sharkey’s conference was the first for us as we signed on about 18 months ago. We had high hopes and great anticipation for it and we were certainly not disappointed! Anytime you can hear the message straight from the source it is instantly more credible and meaningful. Scott fills the room with energy and passion like few can. Linda, Denis, Michael and Christopher each contributed meaningful and heartfelt thoughts and insight relating to their areas of expertise. What we found to be every bit as valuable was the Sharkey’s partners who shared.  Thanks to all who had a hand in this great event and we can hardly wait for the next one!

Scott and the entire team not only supplied the expected nuggets we can apply to shops, but their authenticity and transparency further assured us we chose the right Franchisor to partner with. The bucket list presentation Scott Sharkey gave an incredible perspective into how we can fully appreciate and prioritize our lives. My favorite part of the Bucket List presentation was getting a good glimpse of Scott’s life.  Have you ever read "The Purpose Driven Life"?  It is written by a Christian pastor but the first line of the book is "It's not about you."  In a nutshell....love God and serve others.  Your presentation showed me who you are as a person and it is clear that you love God and serve others.  Your family, your vocational school, the young man that you helped pay his education are all testaments to the life you live.  It’s clear Sharkey’s is very important to you but it's not your world.  It was a great message to all of us to not make our business the center of our world.  Yes we need to work hard on our businesses but don't lose sight of why we've been put on this earth, our goals and personal relationships along the way.

Scott’s bucket list presentation was amazing and put so much into perspective.  This was by far the best part of the conference for me personally.  I was overwhelmed with emotion as I had never really sat down and thought about “my life” in this manner.  Life’s way too short; we have to live every day to our fullest potential!
