Being a parent in today's day and age can be challenging.  Well, surely, it's always been challenging but parents today seem to pack a lot into every single day. We are masters of multitasking. A trip to a children's hair salon is no different.   It’s part entertainment, a gathering place for friendly faces, a place where smiles and silliness (and yes, some inevitable criers) are always welcome. The environment is friendly, welcoming, and warm.  And, of course, the main reason for being there is to get a quality haircut in this environment.

5 keys to always remember

As with adult stylists, (1) our stylists have individual methods and strengths and some are better suited for some children and some hair types and styles than others. (2) If you find a stylist you're happy with, you should by all means stick with him or her. (3) Routine and familiarity is good for children and it helps for our stylists to get to know the child's hair as well as their temperament. (4) Unlike adults, kids hair styles must lend itself to children's natural hair tendencies, as they are not going to spend the time with styling products and tools like adults do.  Therefore, a consistent stylist can maximize your experience and success with a kid's salon and with a kid's hair style.  A kid's hair salon is so much more than just a haircut...really it's a whole experience.  (5) Try different stylists until you find one that you and your child are happy with and then stick with him or her.  It will make your overall experience the best it can be.  If you do this for you own hair why would you not do the same for your kids?
